Programs in the performing and creative arts are located in Astoria, Corona and East Elmhurst. Classes are available in theatre, movement, cheerleading, tumbling, dance, creative writing, poetry and spoken word

The Conservatory is dedicated to being an outlet for creative and artistic expression while supporting young people's formal education and personal aspirations through a program that is disciplined yet responsive and caring.

The Roberta Wells Conservatory provides performing arts training and experiences to over 50 youth annually while enriching the Queens community (Astoria, Corona, East Elmhurst...) with cultural events. With an established reputation as a youth arts organization the Conservatory encourages students to excel in their chosen discipline and develop into confident, thoughtful and accomplished people and artists. Since 1997 the Conservatory’s staff has provided a learning environment based on team work and cooperation and the understanding of the young person as a developing individual.

The Conservatory provides youth and their families quality and affordable performing arts training with an emphasis on developing youth who are skilled, self aware, civic and thoughtful. Students can choose a course of study that is tailored to help them grow. Year round Private Lesson, Small Group, Workshop, Master Class, Competition Team, Repetory Ensemble are available to individuals and organizations.Young people ages 4 - 21 have a place to develop social and life skills. Additionally performances, community service projects, field trips, competitions, master classes and exhibitions give youth the opportunity to excel and be a part of a team.

The Conservatory program is an affordable one for most. Individual classes are for school age children.To keep costs down there is volunteerism needed from parent and students.  There are also talent and need based scholarships and work study opportunities.
