SPRING/SUMMER 2011
RWC attended the Mentoring Partnership of New York's Spring Breakfast Mentoring Forum at Ernst & Young. Friend of the Conservatory, Vice-President of the Fund for the City of New York, Reverend Alfonso Wyatt, was the key speaker. We hope to incorporate an informal mentoring program into our Fall 2011 season and will reach out to friends, family, former students, parents and board members. Look for this.
Roberta Wells Conservatory sends its congratulations to RWC board member Professor Thomas J. O'Donnell. Professor O'Donnell is a graduate of Howard University Law School and two more universities. He teaches at the Savannah School for Art and Design (www.scad.edu) and has just completed directing a design project for the German Embassy. Well done friend!
Please visit our calendar page. We have an updated schedule.
Volunteers are needed this Saturday, December 18 for the Conservatory's Christmas recital and Corona Congregational Church's Christmas Party. You can help backstage or at the party. There will be games, food, Santa, arts & crafts donated by the Queens Museum of Art, facepainting... Come at 11 am or 1 pm. We need your support!
